Traditional meeting tools rely on intrusive bots or high-bandwidth recordings that can make participants feel uncomfortable, while the subtle dynamics—like sentiment shifts, rising tensions, or unbalanced participation—remain completely unmeasured and unaddressed. To solve this, we built Aftertaste Analyzer, a privacy-first AI Chrome extension designed to provide deep meeting intelligence without the friction of traditional recording. The platform was engineered to listen to the 'pulse' of a meeting through its natural flow. The tool passively captures live Google Meet captions in real-time, requiring no bots or intrusive recordings. Post-meeting, its AI engine analyzes the transcript to reveal sentiment shifts, detect unspoken tensions, and map participation dynamics. It provides role and influence mapping to show who is driving the conversation and extracts concrete decisions and action items. This high-fidelity analysis allows teams to understand not just what was said, but the underlying dynamics that influence their collective performance. The result is a new level of team self-awareness and accountability.
