Purchasing high-quality timber products online is a high-stakes decision for customers who need to see and feel the material before committing to a full order. Traditionally, the gap between browsing a digital catalog and receiving a physical product often leads to customer hesitation, as generic e-commerce templates fail to provide the specialized flow needed for a 'sample-first' buying journey. To solve this, we built Beere Timber, a specialized Shopify-based store tailored to the unique needs of the timber industry. The platform was designed to bridge the gap between digital exploration and physical verification. We first crafted the entire user experience in Figma, focusing on a clean, modern aesthetic that reflects the premium nature of the products. This was then implemented as a customized Shopify Dawn theme, featuring a unique multi-step workflow. Customers can easily browse extensive wood varieties, order physical samples directly from the site, and then return to place full-scale product orders once they've verified the material. This structured journey reduces purchase friction and builds confidence at every stage. The result is a highly professionalized shopping experience that has transformed Beere Timber into a modern, trust-based brand. By streamlining the sample-to-order pipeline, the store has significantly improved customer conversion rates and provided a scalable foundation for high-end timber retail.
